I found out the capital of Ethiopia, which is Addis Ababa. The rough population (due to AIDS deaths) is 78,254,090, and the average age of them are 18. What I found shocking was the literacy rate. In comparison, males' literacy rate is 50.3% whereas a females' literacy rate is at 35.1%. This is a 15% difference. It shows that not only are they less developed compared to the rest of the world, literary-wise, but that women are not being taught equally.

Rural Ethiopian Family.
It seems to me that Ethiopia is stuck. There is small development since their constitution was ratified (in 1994) The men are the head of the family, who hunt, while women are the ones who cook and take care of the children. Their life seems to be dependent on agriculture as well.

Project Status:
I'm in charge finding someone to interview. So far, with much failure, I've tried contacting businesses such as the Alliance for African Assistance and Horn of Africa. We have also contacted family friends, once again with unsuccessful results. My great aunt is from Cote d'Ivoire (West Africa) and we will be interviewing her. However, it is a little complicated because she is in Europe, so it must be conducted by phone.
